I am on day 6 of Garden of Life Raw and so far I think this is a great cleanse.
First, it is a mild cleanse so you will not find yourself running to the bathroom at inopportune times- you will however find that you are more regular. I have read some of the negative comments and I will say that, yes, the nighttime supplement is vile- it tastes awful but it is easily sucked down in a minute, sip some water or tea afterwards and it is over.
You will not feel great right away- this is a detox, toxins are trapped in your organs and fat and as the fatbreaks down and your organs are cleansed you might feel worse before you feel better. Day 1 and 2 I felt very sluggish and spacey. Day 3 and 4 my back (kidneys) and legs hurt very badly, my legs broke out and itched miserably- it did not feel good but it was a good sign the cleanse was working. By day 5 I was more clear headed and today I am feeling energetic, very clear headed and my skin is clear. My husband noticed that my belly is flatter and I do not feel so heavy in the gut as I do on an almost normal basis. I am keeping to a sugar and grain free diet while on the cleanse. It is also important to drink lots of water and exercise to help flush out the released toxins faster.

I have done a Garden of Life 14-day cleanse and it was good. This one is horrible. I am only on Day 1 and I feel awful. I literally gained 3 pounds in 12 hours just from the pills which make me feel soooo bloated and disgusting. Haven't used the bathroom once. The nighttime drink was horrendous. I finished 3/4 of it before I had the urge to vomit. I'm going to see if I can get my money back from The Vitamin Shoppe. I'm really disappointed and I do not have the interest to continue on the full 7 days after reading the other (negative) reviews.

I have done many cleanses over the years and this one was, by far, the most awful tasting and useless cleanse, which really surprised me because I really like some of the other Garden of Life products. As earlier reviewers stated, the evening fiber drink burned in the back of the throat, and truly tasted and smelled like vomit. And I noticed no real benefit for the $30. This particular cleanse was attractive to me because I needed a gluten-free product, but, alas, I will have to keep looking. So, please save your money and time (and taste buds) and try another brand.

I am on day 5 and still waiting for that "incredible feeling" I have been very strict with my diet eating only fruits and veggies and quinoa and eggs for protein. I allow myself one cup of coffee in the afternoon and a tiny square of dark chocolate. I wish there was a nutrition plan included with the kit, there are really no other helpful guidlines or even anything to tell you what to expect your body to go through. I kind of expected to use the bathroom more than normal but nothing has changed. I even prepared a week earlier with a diet of pureed veggie soup and only liquids. I am proud of myself for sticking this thing out....yes its awful, but its only the nighttime glass of sludge. I mix it with blueberry juice. I tried carrot juice but it made it taste and smell even more like baby vomit...it really is horrible but if you dont breath and just guzzle its ok, just keep telling yourself its only 7 times! I have been opening the capsules and drinking those as well, they are not bad at all. The morning mouth rinse packet is ok too. Hopefully in the next 2 days I will have that feeling this cleanse promised, or all that nastiness was for nothing...

For the first few days, I was trying incredibly hard to tolerate the terrible taste of this product, but after a few days, I felt incredible. Not only did it regulate my system, it also made me feel more energetic. You do have to stick to the instructions given on each packet, and it was very rewarding to do so. Though the taste may be horrid, it is a completely natural product. I recommend this to anyone looking for a natural cleanser.
